One tower guards the westward road.

Demon-Quelling Tower is a hand-painted ink-wash tower defense game. Read the road, station fifteen guardians along it, attune twenty-five boons, and hold the line through a hundred trials.

What you do

  • Read the road. Every trial lays out a different path. Watch the lanes before you commit - the first wave tells you what the tenth one will cost you.
  • Station fifteen guardians. Each guardian has its own reach, rhythm and role - single-target burst, area control, lane coverage. Place them where the path bends, not where it is convenient.
  • Attune twenty-five boons. Between trials, spend what you earned on boons that stack. Twenty-five of them, and they can be combined into very different runs.
  • Watch the Jade. Clear trials to earn Jade; Jade buys the boons that carry you deeper. The economy is tight on purpose.
  • Keep the core alive. The core only takes so much. Let enough demons through and the pilgrimage ends.
